CyanogenMod 11 modded for Desire HD/Inspire 4G

CyanogenMod 11 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

These releases are based on CM11 for the Desire HD, Inspire 4G users must flash Inspire 4G mod!

Installation:

Boot into CWM Recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Format /System
Install zip from SD card / choose ROM zip from SD card
Install zip from SD card / choose Inspiremod zip from SD card (only for Inspire 4G users)
After installation reboot system now
1st Boot take about 3 - 5 minutes (caches are generated in this time

Dont wipe data after flashing the rom / it will break apps flashed to data partition!

If you are installing it for the first time or changing from a CM11 Kernel version, wipe System, Cache, Data and Dalvik. If you are coming from CM 11 Release 1.x, just Flash this! Don't wipe ANYTHING!

It's doesn't need Gapps. It's already included. All you need is flash one zip file!

This Rom is for people who have asked me to make a Stock Rom with practical modifications of CM. This sounds like a Stock Rom and runs stable like a Stock version. With it you will have the same experience of the Stock Rom but with the good things of CM. You don't need to install GAPPS, kernels or anything.

All Versions are already ROOTED! DON'T FLASH SUPERSU UNLESS YOU WANT TO!

How to Install
Copy the Rom zip file to Internal Storage
Backup your files and data (if you like, backup Data, System and Boot with Recovery)
f you are updating it from my CM11 Release 1.0, just flash it, don't wipe ANYTHING. If this is your first time on it or you changing between Release with another Rom and want a clean install to get no errors, Wipe Dalvik Cache, System, Data, Cache.
Flash the Rom
Restart and Setup this

How to install

download ROM and place it on your SD card
boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of ROM
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

(((( Very Important Note))))
To complete the installation without any problems
it is better to manually do a full wipe ROM is fully optimized
Rom the first boot takes 1.07 minutes or more...

I'm trying to build android from source for the htc ace (desire hd) and I don't know how to use lunch. I'm looking for a config file for this device but I can't find anything. I don't know if I have to use a generic config or adapt one from other similar device. Anyone who compiled for this device could help me?

CWM Touch for Ace was a bit old and outdated compared with others recoveries. Now it seems one of the most functional.
PhilZ Touch is a CWM Advanced Edition that adds all the features you could ever miss in CWM.
It is a well proven recovery for many phones,It also adds a full touch interface a completely configurable GUI.

Hi All,

Today suddenly my device hung up on Android screen and it doesn't go forward. I waited for like 10-15 min,pulled the battery out and rebooted but nothing happens(it still is stuck up on boot screen). I have been on this ROM for more than 8 months from now. What could go wrong suddenly?

Device: Inspire 4G
ROM: SVHD

Can anyone suggest me how to get past it without probably loosing my data?

I've decided to open a new thread, especially since the previous thread is discontinued. I wanted to highlight progress is very much being made on the Nokia X port for the Desire HD.

Just as the title says this is an unofficial build of TWRP recovery v2.7.1.0 for the HTC ACE.

This has been tested on my Inspire 4G and a Desire HD by @Mustaavalkosta. It has been tested with both Sense roms and current KK AOSP roms. I have put it to the test and not found any issues so far. If you find any bugs please report with an attached recovery log.
